This UX/UI project explores the creation of a digital type foundry centered around the Japanese typeface Sharp Earth. Inspired by my own connection to both Japanese and Swiss culture, the concept focuses on bringing together two different writing systems: Japanese characters and Latin typography. The website design creates a space where both scripts can coexist, highlighting their differences while exploring their shared usability, structure, and visual rhythm. Through the interface, typography becomes more than a tool for communication, it becomes a bridge between cultures, identities, and design approaches.
